Kids Yoga & Teen Yoga Classes in Kirchberg and Merl
Yoga helps kids become more confident, strong, balanced and friendly.
Each Kids Yoga (5-10yrs) class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses.
Teen Yoga (10-13yrs) classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. This course will also give them some tools for dealing with their everyday tasks in a more relaxing way, make them feel empowered and more confident with their bodies, stimulate their imagination, raise their awareness on peace and treating their body gently… all the while having fun and helping them find their own way towards stillness :-).
The teacher can adapt the course languages based on the Teens that enroll, but we would need to limit it to two languages for sake of time. We will offer English and either FR, DE or LU as needed.

Kids Run – Yuppi-Mini-Kulturlaf (Booking required)
Yuppi Mini-run (500m or 1km) for kids as well as sports workshops for kids until 12h. You do not have to be registered with a sports club to participate. Please arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the race so that you can warm up. In your first participation you will receive a passport. For each run you get a stamp on your passport. Cactus donates € 1 to Fondatioun Kriibkskrank Kanner for each stamp in your passport.

The Discover Luxembourg (by foot) concept was initiated in 2008 as an annual one-day event. Teams of 4 will have the chance to walk either the 5-6km route (appropriate for families with buggies) or the 8-10km route around the city of Luxembourg and its suburbs. Along the course participants will be able to discover different aspects of Luxembourg as well as undertake various challenges where they can earn points to win prizes.

Vianden Castle Paper Days
This weekend Vianden Castle is all about paper. The popular material is the focus of numerous demonstrations. In addition to selling valuable and antique books, a varied program awaits visitors. Younger visitors can immerse themselves in the world of paper in various paper workshops.On both days there will be paper and book crafts – Workshops for all ages.

The Schueberfouer, funfair of the city of Luxembourg, is the biggest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Summer Sports Activities at the Kinnekswiss and Trampolines at Merl Park

St*Art – Art & Craft For Kids and Teens
St*Art runs art classes for children and teens offering them the opportunity to explore their creativity and discover their artistic talent while having fun and developing their passion for art.
With St*Art, kids will learn about painting techniques, and develop drawing skills using various art media – graphite, charcoal, coloured pencil, crayon, pastel, acrylic paint, oil paint, watercolour, etc.
Classes are run in small groups, 10 kids or less, with one-on-one guidance, in order to cater to every child’s needs and make sure they make progress. The instructor focuses on developing organic drawing styles unique to every child.

Open Days Train 1900
This event is for all lovers of historic trains and it takes place in Fond-de-Gras, the Mecca of industrial and railway heritage in Luxembourg. For its traditional open day, Train 1900 three steam locomotives will travel between Pétange Fond-de-Gras and Rodange. The first train, diesel train, will depart at 11.00h at Pier TRAIN 1900 Pétange. There will be demonstrations of forge work and free guided tours.
