It’s the time of the year when many rubber ducks compete in the annual Duck race! The entertainment (good for kids as well) will start around 12h in the Petrusse Valley (under the Viaduct) and the duck race will begin at 15:00h! You can purchase your own duck to participate in the race – see the website below. All proceeds from the ducks go to charity.

Started in 2016 as a competition between San Francisco and Los Angeles, the City Nature Challenge (CNC) has grown into an international event, motivating people around the world to find and document wildlife in their cities. In order to take part in this challenge, you just need to take pictures of wild plants and animals in Esch-Belval, Luxembourg-Kirchberg or Luxembourg-Grund and share them through the app iNaturalist on the chosen platform.
