Kanner in the City
For two days the city center will be transformed into a playground for children offering various games and workshops. Young animators from the 5 continents will entertain the children. And if that is not enough board, water, sand and wooden games as well as dance and songs will be available for your little ones.

Interactive guided tour for children from 3-6 years (Booking required, in Lux/De)
The children will take actively part in this guided tour where they will have to look for paintings, observe works of art, touch some paintings or draw works with specific instructions! This interactive guided tour is specially designed for our little visitors.

Kids Yoga (5-9 yrs) & Pre-teen Yoga (10-13 yrs) (Booking required)
Yoga is a great way for kids to increase awareness of themselves, others and the world, while having fun! The kids class is taught in English and French by Anna Svensson. The pre-teen class is taught in English but French translation is possible.

Medieval festival in Vianden
This year’s mediaeval festival offers a varied and spectacular program. Over 100 participants will revive the medieval spirit of ancient times with knights tournaments, ancient plays, fire-eaters, minstrels, jugglers, calligraphy and raptor shows. In addition to the animation you can visit the medieval market in the castle or grab a bite to eat at the historic castle tavern.

Open Air Cinema
An open-air cinema with screenings for adults and children – a giant screen with 500 places. Check out the website for the program

Summer Activities at Villa Vauban
In the upcoming summer months, come and take part in the various activities on offer in Villa Vauban’s park. Summer Sports Activities at the Kinnekswiss and Trampolines at Merl Park
Free sports activities (football, volleyball, badminton, pétanque, Frisbee and many more) offered by Lux city at Kinnekswiss (and around Lux). Equipment and instructors are available on site. Check out the program on the website. And don’t forget about the free trampolines in Merl park for your kids!

Bee Trail – Kids Learn Why Bees Are Awesome
Head over with the kids to the 2.5 km bee trail that goes across the city and includes 13 information stops. There you will discover the richness of biodiversity in the city as well as the world of bees (just a few examples of the adventures that awaits you on the tour: a hive on the roof of a building, a hotel for wild bees, and much more)! Alternatively, teach your kids about the importance of bees and the ecosystem with the BeePopulate game. With this app you can design virtual garden for bees to pollinate!
