The Natural Heritage Department of the City of Luxembourg and the Administration of Nature and Forests invite young and old to a discovery day of forestry work, “E Schaffdag am Stater Bësch”, at “Devashaff” in Muhlenbach. From 10 am to 5 pm, visitors will be able to discover the daily work and the very diversified tasks of the municipal service in charge of the maintenance of the natural heritage of the City: tree cutting, pruning, skidding with draft horses, sawing slaughtered trees, maintenance and care of animals, such as sheep, donkeys or bees, making wooden objects ..

The City of Luxembourg and the Luxembourg City Tourist Office present “Winterlights”, the festival of lights (made out of 100% energy saving light bulbs) and animation. It features Christmas markets , ice rink, Adventscircus (30 Nov – 16 Dec), the traditional Saint Nicolas parade, carousels (place d’armes), street animations, Ferris wheel, exhibitions, shows, book readings and concerts! The markets are located in the following places: Place de Paris, Place d’Armes, Place de la Constitution, Puits Rouge, Place du Theatre. Check out the program on the website.
