Yoga is a great way for kids to increase awareness of themselves, others and the world, while having fun! The kids class is taught in English and French by Anna Svensson. The pre-teen class is taught in English but French translation is possible.

This yoga session is specially designed for your children to relax. After a short guided tour of the exhibition “Plakeg. Carnival (2 February – 31 March 2019)

Carnival or Fuesend is celebrated big time in Luxembourg. It’s time to dress up, party and have candy. It starts on Candlemas day (2 Feb 2019) goes on until Bretzelsonndeg (Pretzel Sunday), the 4th Sunday of Lent (31 March 2019). During that period a lot of Carnival events and parades takes place !

This day is s all about water! The Nature Park of the Upper-Sûre invites you to its big Waterday. All day long the whole family can participate in different activities. They include:
– construction of small rafts, followed by a raft race
– different workshops on the topic of water
– discovery of local aquatic animals
– activities relating to wastewater
– information and animation
– and much more!

Instead of a traditional sightseeing tour through the city, which can be annoying and boring especially for children, the Familljen Center, in cooperation with the Asbl “Frënn vun der Lëtzebuerg fortress” , offers parents the opportunity to join their children in the catacombs of the city of Luxembourg to visit and explore  – an adventurous journey through the casemates!

The ACL Sport organizes Sunday, March 24, 2019, with the assistance of the EMSC Bitburg, a discovery course “karting” for children and adolescents between 8 and 18 years. This event aims to promote motorsport and introduce the discipline of karting, which has become an almost mandatory pass for those who want to become a motorsport driver.!

Family Yoga (5-10 yrs)

Is your daughter or son inspired by your yoga practice and tries to imitate you? Why not share your love of yoga with them in this fun animated themed class. You will be lead on a magical journey to explore different lands around the world, while meeting many animals along the way. Parents and kids will bring these animals to life via animated yoga poses with some occasional partner poses sprinkled in for some added fun! The use of animated poses and basic stretching exercises promote strength, flexibility, coordination and body awareness. Breathing and visualization techniques teach kids how to focus, relax and develop self-control. This class is best suited for 5-9 year olds but younger children are welcome from 3yrs and older siblings too until 13yrs. This class is taught in English by Lynn Frank.
