TippTopp Art Camp
TippTopp Art Camp is back for Carnival Holidays (13 – 17 Feb) at TippTopp Art Studio, 3 rue Origer, Luxembourg.
Our week-long art class will explore a range of art making techniques, materials and ideas, from drawing and canvas painting, printing on fabrics, t-shirt creation, clay modelling and more.
Each day we focus on a new theme that allows for individual interpretation and personalisation.
In our free creative time we will make slime, glitter tattoos and other fun activities so loved by children!

Dalcroze Eurhythmics is music experience and education through sound and movement. This approach, used worldwide to learn music and is loved by young children as it appeals to their sensory and holistic way of experiencing, knowing and learning new things. Yoga helps kids become more confident, strong, balanced and friendly.
KIDS YOGA 5-9 yrs – Yoga is a great way for kids to increase awareness of themselves, others and the world, while having fun! Yoga is a wonderful way for children to stay (or become) confident, strong, balanced and healthy. Yoga engages a child’s natural boundless energy and conveys valuable lessons in positive thinking, body and mind awareness. Each class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses.
Pre-TEEN YOGA (8-11yrs) & TEEN YOGA (10-15yrs) – Expanding minds and maturing bodies come together through independent and group activities that stimulate teens’ physical strength, emotional balance and self-confidence. Classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. This course will also give them some tools for dealing with their everyday tasks in a more relaxing way, make them feel empowered and more confident with their bodies, stimulate their imagination, raise their awareness on peace and treating their body gently… all the while having fun and helping them find their own way towards stillness :-). This class is more like an adult yoga class, but still lots of fun!

LEGO BuyBack
On Saturday, January 21 from 12:00 to 18:00, La Belle Etoile will organize, in collaboration with Luxlug asbl, a great action “Lego Recovery” on the “hobbi square”. For each kilo of Lego deposited, the customer will receive 10 € in the form of a Belle Etoile. The minimum quantity will be 1 kg. But beware, that pieces of the Lego brand will be accepted (any other brand and Duplo are excluded). At the same time, LuxLug will offer a shopping exchange where Lego enthusiasts can buy pieces in bulk.

Drawings on coasters (Multi-language workshop (LU/DE/FR/EN))
For the last days of the exhibition Gast Michels (1954-2013): Movement in colour, form and symbols, Cercle Cité invites visitors to bring the exhibition to life by spontaneously scribbling their impressions on coasters – a rather dominant medium in Gast Michels’ Work. On these coasters, the artist recorded his observations of his surroundings, left comments in the form of symbols, and captured the moment. The coaster creations can be taken home as souvenirs, afterwards. Equipment required: a ballpoint pen or pencil.
