Intro to computer coding for kids (Advanced booking required, in EN)
A fun workshop where kids ages 4-6 and 7-10 are introduced to the basics of coding, problem solving, and logical and creative thinking. Full of fun and interactive hands-on activities, including programming robots.

Medieval festival in Vianden
This year’s mediaeval festival offers a varied and spectacular program. Over 100 participants will revive the medieval spirit of ancient times with knights tournaments, ancient plays, fire-eaters, minstrels, jugglers, calligraphy and raptor shows. In addition to the animation you can visit the medieval market in the castle or grab a bite to eat at the historic castle tavern.

Summer Sports Activities at the Kinnekswiss and Trampolines at Merl Park
Free sports activities (football, volleyball, badminton, pétanque, Frisbee and many more) offered by Lux city at Kinnekswiss. Equipment and instructors are available on site. Don’t also forget about the free trampolines in Merl park for your kids!

Open Air Cinema

Summer Activities at Villa Vauban
In the upcoming summer months, come and take part in the various activities on offer in Villa Vauban’s park. Model Sailboats in Parc Merl
16 model sailboats will be made available to children at Merl Park (pond near the pavilion) between 11:00 and 17:00 on selected weekends!

Bee Trail – Kids Learn Why Bees Are Awesome
Head over with the kids to the 2.5 km bee trail that goes across the city and includes 13 information stops. There you will discover the richness of biodiversity in the city as well as the world of bees (just a few examples of the adventures that awaits you on the tour: a hive on the roof of a building, a hotel for wild bees, and much more)! Alternatively, teach your kids about the importance of bees and the ecosystem with the BeePopulate game. With this app you can design virtual garden for bees to pollinate!

Fest at Château Ansembourg
The fest will take place in the gardens of Château Ansembourg. Besides regional food specialties the fest will feature workshops on nature and culture, entertainment and thetre for the kids, guided visits of the gardens and much more! Head over with your kids to enjoy this fabulous fest!

Open Days Train 1900
This event is for all lovers of historic trains and it takes place in Fond-de-Gras, the Mecca of industrial and railway heritage in Luxembourg. For its traditional open house, Train 1900 three steam locomotives will travel between Pétange Fond-de-Gras and Rodange. The first train, diesel train, will depart at 11.00h at Pier TRAIN 1900 Pétange.

La kermesse(funfair) in Vaux-sur-Sûre

Assumption Day Folklore Festival (Léiffrawëschdag)
Every year the day of the Assumption of Mary is celebrated in Greiveldange. Join the fest to attend the religious mess, enjoy national and international folklore and Luxembourgish food, and see the local crafts market.

Bike tour PIR & METT CLEMENS
The event is open to all cyclists. There will be a family fun tour of 20 km as well as tours of 55 and 110 km.

The Schueberfouer, funfair of the city of Luxembourg, is the biggest funfair in Luxembourg and the Greater Region. Come and experience around 200 attractions, amongst which 25 rides, over 12 kiddy rides, entertainment games, a dozen restaurants, numerous snacks and take-outs, etc. from over 6 different nations. If you or your kids like Playmobil then visit the annual international gathering of Playmobil collectors. The exhibition is on 1000m2 and includes 15 scenes ranging from 2m2 to 50m2 on various themes. Around 120 tables selling Playmobil stuff will be available as well.

Luxmama Family Day – Summer Edition
