A popular success, the VR Pavilion, dedicated to virtual reality and original immersive experiences, allows the public to explore a selection of new, narrative and innovative works. It offers a unique opportunity to discover content specially designed to take advantage of VR, always daring and original, and awarded among others at the Venice Film Festival or the Tribeca Festival. An experience that the public can extend at home thanks to the VR to Go virtual reality headset rental service.

Over eleven days, the Luxembourg City Film Festival features a vast panorama of films and workshops in the three partner cinema complexes (Ciné Utopia, Cinémathèque de la Ville de Luxembourg and Kinepolis Kirchberg) For kids – there is a dedicated program and workshops (for further information about the programme, the films and workshops, please contact: register@luxfilmfest.lu). Head out to the fish market (behind the Palace of the Grand Dukes ) in Luxembourg City and buy one of the little bird-shaped earthenware whistles known as peckvillercher. They are sold only on that day. Or alternatively, you can go to Nospelt (Luxembourg) for the Emaischenfestival (folklore dancing is part of the Eimaischen entertainment program on Easter Monday). read more about Emaischen here.

It’s the time of the year when many rubber ducks compete in the annual Duck race! The entertainment (good for kids as well) will start around 12h in the Petrusse Valley (under the Viaduct) and the duck race will begin at 15:00h! You can purchase your own duck to participate in the race – see the website below. All proceeds from the ducks go to charity.

Pilgrimage to honour Our Lady of Luxembourg, the patron saint. Lasts from the third to the fifth Sunday after Easter and represents the main religious ceremony of the country. See various events taking place here. And in Lux city center kids can enjoy the traditional fair with kids attractions.

Head over with the kids to the 2.5 km bee trail that goes across the city and includes 13 information stops. There you will discover the richness of biodiversity in the city as well as the world of bees (just a few examples of the adventures that awaits you on the tour: a hive on the roof of a building, a hotel for wild bees, and much more)! Alternatively, teach your kids about the importance of bees and the ecosystem with the BeePopulate game. With this app you can design virtual garden for bees to pollinate!

This day is s all about water! The Nature Park of the Upper-Sûre invites you to its big Waterday. All day long the whole family can participate in different activities. They include:
– construction of small rafts, followed by a raft race

Old tales of Ettelbruck tell stories from the gnome families on the hills around Ettelbruck. Out of those tales, the “Wiichtel” festival emerged. On the 14th May 2022, the Ettelbruck City Tourist Office will organise in corporation with the “Nordstadt Turnveräin” (gymnastics club) the annual competition “De Staarke Wiichtel” (The strong gnome). Besides the competition, you can find magical animation in the pedestrian zone and drink and eat at the booths of local associations.

This year, the traditional festival will take place for the 31st time in Munshausen, in the Robbesscheier nature centre. Environmental protection, forestry work and nature education are at the heart of the programme. The draft horse, the symbol of the Robbesscheier, will be present everywhere, through animations, demonstrations and information for young and old. The event is truly geared towards the general public and families. Discovering the draught horse means discovering its natural environment, in the heart of a wild nature as we know it in the north of Luxembourg. The gastronomic offer presented highlights our Luxembourg producers and Luxembourg agriculture.
