This is a Christian festival celebrating the arrival of the Three Wise Men, or Kings, to see the baby Jesus. By tradition on that day in Luyxembourg people eat ‘galette des rois” – a frangipane cake with a charm figuring and a paper crown. Whoever gets the figurine is pronounced King/Queen of the day.
