At the beginning of October, on its famous nut-fair “Nessmoort”, Vianden sells the nuts gathered under the numerous nut-trees of the neighbouring slopes! Your kids can try a wide range of nut-based products like nutty bread and pralines and for the grownups there is nut-based liqueur and the famous “Nëssdröpp”, a brandy made out of young nuts.
