What if kindness could be heard?

Waves of Kindness invites children and families into a musical journey where small gestures create powerful ripples. Inspired by waves spreading across water, this interactive concert explores how kindness begins in simple moments — a smile, a sound, a shared experience — and travels further than we imagine.

One quiet afternoon, a child was sitting by a lake, throwing small stones into the water.
Each time a pebble touched the surface, the child watched the circles spread outward — first a small ring, then another, and another, moving farther and farther away.
An older woman nearby asked, “Why do you keep throwing stones?”
The child replied, “I like watching the waves. It’s amazing how something so small can travel so far.”
The woman smiled and said,
“You know, kindness works the same way.”

Through a colorful program of chamber music, from playful miniatures to expressive and lyrical works, young listeners discover how music can speak, listen, and connect — just like we do.
