Family Play Day (Spill Mat)

Night Of the Museums
The museums will open their doors and entertain visitors with a rich and multidisciplinary programme of dance and music performances, live acts etc. Check the program here , in most of the museum there are special kids workshops (Atelier enfants). Free shuttle buses will be available as well – for details see the website.

Nut Fair in Vianden
At the beginning of October, on its famous nut-fair “Nessmoort”, Vianden sells the nuts gathered under the numerous nut-trees of the neighbouring slopes! Your kids can try a wide range of nut-based products: form nutty bread to pralines to nut-based liqueur. And you should not miss to taste the famous “Nëssdröpp”, a brandy made out of young nuts.

‘Randonnée Mullerthal’ and open house day in the youth hostel Beaufort
On Sunday, the 13th October will take place the 12th edition of the traditional ‘Randonnée Mullerthal’ for mountain bikers and hikers. Starting point and destination are the youth hostel Beaufort. In order to entertain the families of the sportsmen and women, the youth hostel Beaufort organises an open house day. Thus, the sport event becomes a family event. The children can participate in a mountain bike tour of 7 km or play at the indoor playground or the bowling alley and entertain themselves with the table football, billiard or bouncy castle of the youth hostel Beaufort. The visitors can satisfy their hunger with some delicious pasta. Shower facilities are on site.

Tulip Bulbs Galore ( in EN, LU, DE, FR)
The ambassador of the Netherlands invites you to his garden for a day of Dutch tulip galore! Fun for the whole family!! Kids will enjoy decorating their own flower pot and create their vivid arrangement of tulips. Adults can buy bulbs to plant at home or plant them straight away in a pot of choice. Bring one from home or buy from us. Follow a workshop to create your favorite tulip arrangement. Of course you can enjoy typical Dutch snacks and drinks! All profits will be donated to the Bazar International de Luxembourg.
