On this day  well-behaved children receive presents from Saint Nicholas while all who have misbehaved are  “greeted” by  ‘Père Fouettard’ (who is dressed in black). Read all about Saint Nicholas here.

Saint-Nicholas Visit at Zigzag – 6 December

On December 6th, between 3.30 and 5.30 pm, St-Nicholas will be handing out treats to your little angels. Take advantage of our super nice Christmas season setting for your pictures!

As always at 2030, WHEN i GROW UP we highly believe in the positive impact of mixed age groups of children. That’s why we’ll be accepting children ranging from 2 years to 6 years. The workshops are held every Saturday (October to December) from 10h00 to 13h00. The whole training methodology is based on learning through play. The programme is bilingual (French-English). Included in each workshop: Healthy brunch preparation with the participants. At the end of the 3 month programme, children will: Get one step closer to understanding their emotions and how to navigate them; Develop empathy, self-confidence, understanding; Strengthen the connection to themselves and to others; Gain collaboration skills. Kids Yoga & Teen Yoga Classes in Kirchberg and Merl

Yoga helps kids become more confident, strong, balanced and friendly.
Each Kids Yoga (5-10yrs) class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses.
Teen Yoga (10-13yrs) classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. Yoga helps kids become more confident, strong, balanced and friendly.
Each Kids Yoga (5-10yrs) class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses.
Teen Yoga (10-13yrs) classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. Kids Yoga & Teen Yoga Classes in Kirchberg and Merl

Yoga helps kids become more confident, strong, balanced and friendly.
Each Kids Yoga (5-10yrs) class is alive with magical journeys where we meet with animals, fly an airplane or drive a car, grow into a tree or imitate the ocean waves, all in the form of dynamic yoga poses.
Teen Yoga (10-13yrs) classes integrate traditional yoga poses, flowing sequences, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation techniques as well as self-reflection. This course will also give them some tools for dealing with their everyday tasks in a more relaxing way, make them feel empowered and more confident with their bodies, stimulate their imagination, raise their awareness on peace and treating their body gently… all the while having fun and helping them find their own way towards stillness :-).
The teacher can adapt the course languages based on the Teens that enroll, but we would need to limit it to two languages for sake of time. We will offer English and either FR, DE or LU as needed.

Nut Fair in Vianden

At the beginning of October, on its famous nut-fair “Nessmoort”, Vianden sells the nuts gathered under the numerous nut-trees of the neighbouring slopes! ‘Randonnée Mullerthal’ and open house day in the youth hostel Beaufort

On Sunday, the 13th October will take place the 12th edition of the traditional ‘Randonnée Mullerthal’ for mountain bikers and hikers. Starting point and destination are the youth hostel Beaufort. In order to entertain the families of the sportsmen and women, the youth hostel Beaufort organises an open house day. Thus, the sport event becomes a family event. The children can participate in a mountain bike tour of 7 km or play at the indoor playground or the bowling alley and entertain themselves with the table football, billiard or bouncy castle of the youth hostel Beaufort. The visitors can satisfy their hunger with some delicious pasta. Shower facilities are on site.
