We are so glad that you are reading this site. If you are looking for what to do with your kids today, tomorrow or over the weekend in and around Luxembourg then you are in the right place.

Every week we spend a good few hours looking for new activities and events that are happening in Luxembourg. We enjoy doing this but what we LOVE about it is that by the time the weekend comes, we have a full list of fun things to do with our kids.

Many parents find it frustrating to scour the web in quest for kid activities. That’s why we decided to share our findings and efforts with you. We are hoping that they will help you as much as they help us.

Who is behind What’s on for kids

We’re busy parents of two lively girls, and Luxembourg has been our home for more than a decade. It’s a wonderful place to raise a family — but when it comes to finding fun activities to keep kids active and entertained, we quickly realized it wasn’t always easy.

Back when we lived in the US and the UK, discovering what was happening nearby was simple. A quick online search or a handy newsletter, and voilà — our weekends were sorted. Moving to Luxembourg, however, was a different story. Even speaking several languages didn’t help much, as event information was scattered across countless websites, Facebook pages, and notice boards.

So, like many parents, we spent hours digging, sorting, and piecing together what was going on. To make life easier, we began organizing our own list of activities and calendar of events — something clear, practical, and parent-friendly.

Before long, that grew into what you see today: What’s On for Kids — your go-to guide for family fun in Luxembourg.

This is brilliant! We pretty much followed the list yesterday. Kids loved the medieval afternoon and the activities at chapter1. They’re wrecked today…. Playing at home, some films and popcorn.
